Door Knocking Team
Position: Door Knocking Volunteer
The FlaglerGOP is looking for energetic volunteers to join our Door Knocking Team during election season. This team plays a key role in voter outreach by helping with voter registration, promoting vote-by-mail, supporting candidates, educating voters on legislation, and encouraging voter turnout.
Responsibilities:
Participate in door-to-door voter outreach with provided voter lists.
Share campaign literature, registration forms, and informational materials.
Educate voters about voter registration, voting options, and election participation.
Answer basic questions and direct voters to resources for more details.
Join a pre-canvassing huddle for instructions and updates, then regroup at the end for pizza and soda with the team.
Time Commitment:
Door knocking is typically scheduled on weekends or evenings during election season.
Shifts vary but generally run a few hours, including the group huddle and wrap-up.
Qualifications:
Outgoing, respectful, and comfortable speaking with community members.
Able to walk door-to-door for the length of a shift.
Team-oriented and willing to follow the provided script and guidelines.
Dependable and enthusiastic about voter outreach.
