Events Set-Up Team
Position: Events Set-Up & Break-Down Team Member
The FlaglerGOP is creating a dependable Events Set-Up Team to assist with the physical setup and breakdown of small monthly events, larger annual fundraisers and election season polling locations presence. This reliable crew will be the backbone of our events, ensuring everything is in place, organized, and ready for success.
Responsibilities:
Assist with transportation, loading, and unloading of event materials.
Set up and break down backdrops, tables, chairs, signage, and tents.
Move and position A/V equipment, auction items, prizes, and other event materials.
Ensure event spaces are neat, functional, and ready for attendees.
Work as part of a team to efficiently handle pre-event setup and post-event breakdown.
Time Commitment:
Support needed at all FlaglerGOP events (small monthly events and four larger annual events).
Time varies by event—generally a few hours before and after each event.
Volunteers can choose to help at specific events or join the standing set-up team for ongoing support.
Qualifications:
Physically able to lift, carry, and move equipment/materials.
Reliable, punctual, and willing to pitch in where needed.
Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
No special technical skills required, but A/V or event setup experience is a plus.
