About the Role
First Friday Events
Location: Flagler Beach Memorial Park
Time: First Friday of every month | 4:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Position: First Friday Event Volunteer
The FlaglerGOP is seeking enthusiastic and dependable volunteers to represent our team at the monthly First Friday events at Flagler Beach Memorial Park. This is a great way to connect with the community, share information, and support local outreach efforts in a fun and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist with setup and breakdown of the FlaglerGOP tent, tables, and literature.
Greet and engage with event attendees, answering questions about the FlaglerGOP, our mission, and upcoming activities.
Provide information on how Flagler residents can register to vote and request a mail-in ballot, and direct them to official resources.
Help share general information and connect attendees with team members who can assist with questions.
Work as part of a 4-person team to ensure the tent is always staffed with friendly and helpful volunteers.
Time Commitment:
4 and a halh-hour shift: 4:30 PM – 9:00 PM on the first Friday of each month.
Volunteers are asked to commit to one full shift when available.
Qualifications:
Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking with community members.
Team player who enjoys working with others toward a shared mission.
