Meeting Greeters

🗓️ Second Wednesday of each month | 5:15 PM – 8:00 PM
Position: Meeting Greeter (Ambassador)
The FlaglerGOP is looking for friendly and reliable volunteers to serve as Greeters at our monthly general meetings. As the first point of contact for members and guests, Greeters play an important role in setting a welcoming tone and helping meetings run smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Arrive at 5:15 PM to assist with table setup and prepare the entry area.
Welcome members and guests as they arrive for the meeting (doors open at 5:30 PM).
Scan attendee tickets using the FlaglerGOP ticketing app (on your device or an FCREC-provided device).
Answer routine questions and direct members/guests to others on-site for additional information.
Serve as ambassadors for the FlaglerGOP, creating a positive, friendly environment.
Assist with clean-up and closing following the meeting (meeting ends at 7:45 PM; exit by 8:00 PM).
Time Commitment:
One evening per month, 5:15 PM – 8:00 PM on the second Wednesday.
Qualifications:
Outgoing and welcoming personality.
Comfortable using a ticket scanning app (training provided).
Ability to answer basic questions about the FlaglerGOP or direct attendees to someone who can.
Dependable and punctual.
