About the Role
Tech & Social Media Team
The FlaglerGOP is seeking skilled and enthusiastic volunteers to join our Tech & Social Media Team, a small but vital group responsible for managing audio/visual needs at events, maintaining our website, and growing our social media presence. This team of dedicated members will work together to ensure the FlaglerGOP’s digital and media resources are professional, engaging, and cohesive.
Responsibilities:
Manage A/V needs at FlaglerGOP events, including microphones, speakers, projectors, and streaming setups.
Assist with the maintenance and updates of the FlaglerGOP website, ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date.
Support the FlaglerGOP social media accounts, creating posts, scheduling content, and engaging with followers.
Collaborate with the Events Team and other departments to ensure media and messaging are consistent across all platforms.
Troubleshoot technical issues during events and provide backup solutions when necessary.
Help develop strategies to enhance online presence and engagement within the FlaglerGOP community.
Time Commitment:
Flexible depending on events, website updates, and social media campaigns.
Team members may take on event-specific projects or ongoing online tasks.
Collaboration meetings as needed to coordinate digital and media efforts.
Qualifications:
Comfortable with technology, A/V equipment, and digital platforms.
Familiarity with social media management, website editing, or graphic design is a plus.
Team-oriented, dependable, and willing to learn new tools or systems.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
