Flagler County Republican Executive Committee Update – March 2026
A Strong Start to the Season
March has already proven to be an active and energizing month for the Flagler County Republican Executive Committee (FCREC). From community events and family gatherings to productive meetings and election preparation, our members and volunteers are continuing to build momentum across Flagler County.
As we move further into the year, the focus remains clear: strengthen our grassroots network, engage with our community, and prepare for the upcoming election cycle. The energy, commitment, and patriotism shown by our members this month are a great example of what makes the FlaglerGOP such a strong and growing organization.
First Friday Returns to Flagler Beach
The March Flagler Beach First Friday on March 6 marked our first appearance at the event this year. With New Year’s Day festivities in January and the Creekside Festival in February, our support system had already been stretched thin. However, thanks to a growing network of volunteers and precinct captains, we are building the capacity to participate in more community events throughout the year.
We had a fantastic turnout of volunteers and candidates at the tent. The weather was beautiful, the music filled the streets, and we enjoyed a tremendous amount of interaction with members of the community. We even sold a little FlaglerGOP swag along the way.
All in all, it was a successful evening and a great opportunity to connect with residents and visitors alike. We look forward to being back at First Friday again on April 3, 2026.
Anyone interested in helping at future events can reach out at TheFCREC@gmail.com or visit the Help Out Hub on FlaglerGOP.com to get involved.

2nd Annual FlaglerGOP Bowling Tournament
On March 7, members and guests gathered for the 2nd Annual FlaglerGOP Bowling Tournament, a fun-filled event that brought together families, friends, and supporters for an evening of camaraderie.
It was wonderful to see so many members enjoying time with their families while supporting the organization. A special thank you goes out to the volunteers and sponsors who helped make the event such an entertaining success.
The silent auction basket fundraiser helped raise additional funds for the REC, while the event itself helped extend the reach of the FlaglerGOP in the community. Events like this strengthen the relationships that make grassroots politics successful.

Highlights from the March FCREC General Meeting
The Flagler County Republican Executive Committee held its March General Meeting on March 11, where a wide range of updates and initiatives were discussed.
Chairman Perry Mitrano emphasized the importance of early Get Out The Vote (GOTV) efforts for the upcoming midterm election cycle. He also expanded on Vice Chair Paula Bedner’s plans for a coordinated phone bank effort designed to energize voter outreach.
Members were also informed about a new phone-calling contest organized by the Republican Party of Florida that offers volunteers the opportunity to win a cash prize while supporting voter engagement.
Sergeant-at-Arms Dave Valinski shared exciting details about the upcoming Flagler Freedom Fairways Classic, the FlaglerGOP golf tournament scheduled for June 22.
Secretary Ron Long provided updates on membership growth and meeting attendance while also explaining the newly launched meeting archives system, which allows members to easily access past agendas, minutes, and attendance. He encouraged members to volunteer for upcoming events as the organization continues to expand its activities.
Treasurer Kim Carney reviewed the organization’s financial outlook and budget.
The State Committeewoman and Committeeman provided updates on voter registration progress, news from the Republican Party of Florida, developments in the Florida Legislature, and a reminder of **Ronald Reagan’s famous “11th Commandment.”
Special guest Kaiti Lenhart gave an informative presentation on voter demographics, the voting process, and the role of the Supervisor of Elections office. She also shared some memorable and hilarious examples of unusual write-in candidates she has encountered over the years.
The meeting wrapped up right on schedule and was followed by some lively fellowship among members.

More Events Ahead
There is still plenty happening this month across the Republican community.
The Coastal Federated Republican Women will hold their next meeting on March 24 at 6:00 PM at the Palm Coast Southern Recreation Center.
Additional events and opportunities to get involved will be announced soon, so be sure to stay connected through the FlaglerGOP website and social media channels to keep up with the latest updates.
Closing Thoughts
The success of our events, meetings, and outreach efforts is a direct result of the dedication of our members, volunteers, and supporters. Every conversation at a community event, every phone call to a voter, and every hour volunteered helps strengthen the conservative movement here in Flagler County.
As we continue building toward the upcoming election cycle, your involvement matters more than ever. Stay engaged, stay informed, and most importantly—stay connected with the FlaglerGOP family as we work together to keep Flagler County strong, free, and proudly Republican.
