Summer Momentum: Victories at Home, Prayers for Texas As we move into the heart of summer, the Flagler County Republican Executive Committee is fired up and focused! July has already brought powerful moments, from our proud participation in the Flagler Beach Fourth of July Parade to the exciting passage of the Big Beautiful Bill, a major legislative win for Florida families and taxpayers. At the same time, our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by the devastating floods in Texas. In this edition of The Patriot Post, we reflect on where we’ve been, look ahead to what’s next, and share key updates to keep you informed and engaged as we build toward victory in 2026. |
Flagler GOP Shines in Fourth of July Parade — Eyes on America’s 250th The Flagler County Republican Executive Committee was proud to participate in this year’s Fourth of July Parade in Flagler Beach, and what a day it was! With strong turnout from our members and plenty of patriotic spirit to go around, the GOP presence was felt and seen all along the parade route. Volunteers handed out American flags to spectators, spreading pride and patriotism with every step. In fact, the response was so overwhelming that we ran out of flags before even reaching the SR 100/Moody Blvd. intersection; a clear sign of just how many Flagler residents came out to celebrate the red, white, and blue. As we look ahead, excitement is already building for next year’s Independence Day celebration, which will mark the 250th birthday of the United States. We’re planning bigger and better things to honor this historic milestone, and we want YOU to be part of it. Stay informed, stay involved, and help us make America’s Semiquincentennial the best celebration yet! |
🎯 The Mission Behind the Movement: Why the FCREC Exists At the heart of the Flagler County Republican Executive Committee (FCREC) is a clear and unwavering purpose: to advance the Republican cause through action, organization, and results. While it’s always uplifting to gather at a parade, celebrate a birthday, or share passionate perspectives during meetings, these moments are part of something bigger; a mission that demands focus, strategy, and commitment. As the official Republican Party organization in Flagler County, our core mission is:
Yes, it’s important that we have a space to voice concerns, debate policy, and enjoy camaraderie. But we are not a social club; we are a Political Action Committee with a mission. And that mission requires unity, dedication, and results-driven action. Together, we can keep Flagler red, grow the conservative movement, and help secure a brighter future for our county, our state, and our country. Let’s stay focused. Let’s stay engaged. And let’s get the job done. |
🏛️ The “One Big Beautiful Bill” Becomes LawThe One Big Beautiful Bill Act, championed by Florida’s GOP delegation—including Reps. Webster, Bean, and Donalds—was signed into law on July 4 . This sweeping legislation delivers permanent tax cuts, Medicaid protection, and historic funding for national security and infrastructure—impacting Florida with revived small-business deductions, tip income exemptions, and robust support for law enforcement and coastal protection. Trump Pushes Semiquincentennial & New TariffsOn July 4 and early July, President Trump signed the new bill, then unveiled a year-long slate of Semiquincentennial events—like the “Great American State Fair,” UFC on the White House lawn, and “Patriot Games”—leading up to America’s 250th Independence Day on July 4, 2026.Simultaneously, on July 7, Trump imposed a 50% tariff on Brazilian imports (plus 20–30% duties on other nations), with July 1 Senate passage paving the way. 🌊 Disaster Declared After Deadly Texas FloodingFollowing severe flash flooding in Central Texas that caused at least 78 deaths, President Trump issued a federal disaster declaration on July 6 and visited Kerrville, Texas, on July 11 with First Lady Melania to meet first responders and flood survivors. 🌍 Global Alert & Immigration Backlash

🎤 Florida Rep. Sam Greco Delivers Powerful Update at July 9th Flagler GOP Meeting 📅 Wednesday, July 9, 2025 | 📍 Palm Coast Community Center The Flagler County Republican Executive Committee was honored to host Florida State Representative Sam Greco and his wife at our July General Meeting. Their visit brought not only warmth and authenticity, but a wealth of important updates from Tallahassee. Rep. Greco gave a comprehensive recap of the 2025 Florida legislative session, which concluded with the passage of a robust, conservative-focused budget. Among the highlights: he successfully secured $35 million in funding for Flagler County, supporting critical infrastructure, public safety, and economic development projects right here at home. This direct investment reflects Rep. Greco’s ongoing commitment to ensuring our community is not overlooked. One of the most impactful portions of his address centered on a bold initiative gaining traction in Tallahassee: the movement to phase out property taxes in Florida. Rep. Greco shared that proposed legislation to begin this shift is currently under committee review, with early-stage discussions focusing on how to restructure state and local revenue streams without sacrificing essential services. While still in development, this effort marks a major step toward easing the burden on Florida homeowners and promoting long-term affordability and prosperity. He also touched on several other legislative priorities from the session, including: ✅ Protection of Unborn Life✅ Gift Card Fraud and Phone Scams✅ Medical Payment Consumer Protection✅ Amendment Petition Regulation, Alligator Alley and more.. The address concluded with a lively Q&A session, where attendees had the chance to ask direct questions about issues impacting Flagler and Florida as a whole. Rep. Greco’s passion, clarity, and determination were on full display, and his efforts prove once again why he's exactly the kind of strong Republican leader we need representing us in Tallahassee. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out. Events like this are how we stay informed, united, and prepared to keep Flagler County and Florida Republican strong. |
