Flagler County Republican Executive Committee Update – June2026

The Patriot Post – June 2026

June Recap: Campaign Season Is Underway

June marked the unofficial beginning of campaign season in Flagler County. Candidates are on the move, forums are drawing large crowds, and local Republicans are actively engaging with voters across the county. From school board forums and candidate meet-and-greets to legislative updates and grassroots voter outreach, the month was packed with opportunities to hear directly from those seeking public office. As we move deeper into election season, one thing is clear: Flagler County voters are paying attention, and the FlaglerGOP is working hard to keep our community informed and engaged.

School Board Candidates Meet the Community

On June 2nd, the Hammock Community Association hosted the first School Board Forum of the season at the Hammock Community Center on Mala Compra Road. Despite rainy weather throughout the evening, every School Board candidate appeared and participated in the discussion.

Community members had the opportunity to hear directly from candidates, learn about their priorities, and ask questions regarding the future of education in Flagler County. The weather may have been less than ideal, but it certainly did not dampen the enthusiasm of either the candidates or the attendees. The event served as an excellent kickoff to what promises to be a busy election season.

Byron Donalds Brings the "Florida Dream" to Flagler County

Congressman Byron Donalds visited Flagler County on June 6th as part of his "Defending the Florida Dream" tour. Hosted at VFW Post 8696, the event drew a strong crowd of supporters from across the county and surrounding areas.

Congressman Randy Fine, representing Florida's 6th Congressional District, was also in attendance. Donalds spent much of the evening taking questions directly from audience members, creating an engaging and interactive atmosphere. Attendees appreciated the opportunity to hear firsthand about his vision for Florida's future and the policies he believes will continue to make Florida a model for the nation.

Breakfast Conversation and Grassroots Action

The following morning, June 7th, Congressman Donalds participated in a smaller breakfast gathering at Southern Table Restaurant in Bunnell. FlaglerGOP Secretary Ron Long attended and spent over an hour speaking with the Congressman about his vision for the state, leadership priorities, and the challenges facing Florida in the years ahead.

Later that day, Congressman Donalds joined State Committeeman Bill Gordon and several members of the Flagler County Republican Executive Committee for a door-knocking effort. The event showcased what many already know: when called upon, FlaglerGOP volunteers show up and get to work. The grassroots effort highlighted the importance of direct voter contact and demonstrated Flagler County's commitment to supporting Republican candidates at every level.

Another Successful School Board Forum

As election season continues to gain momentum, the American Association of University Women (AAUW) hosted another School Board Forum at the Records Vault inside the Flagler Engagement Center.

Once again, all candidates participated, giving voters another opportunity to compare positions and hear directly from those seeking office. The unique venue provided an excellent setting for thoughtful discussion, and a strong turnout reflected the community's continued interest in the future of Flagler County schools.

June FlaglerGOP Meeting Highlights

The FlaglerGOP gathered for its monthly meeting on June 10th at the Palm Coast Community Center.

Members heard a TMAY (Tell Me About Yourself) presentation from Rob Wood, candidate for Flagler County School Board District 2. Rob shared his background, qualifications, and reasons for seeking office, providing members with valuable insight into his campaign.

The evening also featured a legislative update from State Representative Sam Greco, who briefed attendees on recent activity in Tallahassee and discussed issues impacting residents throughout Flagler County and across Florida.

Randy Fine Call Center Continues Voter Outreach

The Randy Fine Call Center continues to be one of the most active grassroots efforts within the FlaglerGOP. Volunteers have been dedicating countless hours making voter contact calls, sharing information, and helping strengthen Republican turnout efforts throughout the county. During this reporting period, volunteers completed an impressive 3,593 voter contact calls and knocked on 93 doors, expanding our outreach efforts and connecting directly with Republican voters across Flagler County.

This month's Caller of the Month recognition goes to Tiffany Bleigh, who led all volunteers with an impressive 466 calls. Tiffany's dedication, commitment, and willingness to spend her time reaching voters exemplify the grassroots spirit that drives Republican success in Flagler County.

Every phone call and every door knocked helps build relationships with voters and ensures they remain informed and engaged. As election season accelerates, these volunteer efforts will play an increasingly important role in supporting Republican victories throughout Flagler County, Congressional District 6, and beyond.

Flagler Freedom Fairways Classic Tees Off June 22

The Flagler Freedom Fairways Classic is almost here.

On Monday, June 22nd, golfers from across the community will gather for a day of golf, fellowship, and fundraising. The tournament promises a great day on the course while supporting the mission of the Flagler County Republican Executive Committee.

We look forward to welcoming players, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters for what is shaping up to be an outstanding event. If you haven't registered yet, there may still be limited opportunities available.

More Candidate Forums Ahead

The candidate forum season continues on June 25th with two important opportunities for voters.

Tiger Bay will host its City Council and County Commissioner Forum, allowing voters to hear directly from candidates seeking local office. Following that event, the Flagler County Association of Realtors (FCAR) will host a forum featuring candidates running for public office throughout Flagler County.

These forums provide valuable opportunities for voters to become informed before heading to the ballot box and are highly encouraged for anyone interested in local government.

Fourth of July Activities Underway

Preparations are already underway for Independence Day celebrations throughout Flagler County.

The Flagler County Republican Club is actively working on its float for the Flagler Beach Fourth of July Parade and welcomes volunteers who would like to help. Anyone interested in assisting should contact TheFCREC@gmail.com.

In addition, the FlaglerGOP will once again host a candidate tent during the United Flagler Fourth of July Fireworks event at the airport. Republican candidates interested in participating and meeting voters are encouraged to contact TheFCREC@gmail.com for additional information.
