June Triumphs: Celebrating Patriots, Victories, and Momentum As June unfolds, we proudly recognize three significant dates in our American heritage. June 14th marked the 250th birthday of the United States Army, a pillar of strength and sacrifice since 1775. On that same day, we celebrate Flag Day, honoring the stars and stripes that have inspired generations of patriots. And of course, we wish a very Happy Birthday to President Donald J. Trump. While chaos and misguided protests erupt in cities like Los Angeles—where radical leftists chant “No Kings” in a dramatic display of historical ignorance—the Republican Party, under the leadership of President Trump, continues to rack up real wins, not just rhetoric. Here in Florida, we are proud to highlight conservative victories in State Senate District 19 and House District 32. These wins are not just symbolic—they are the result of hard work, grassroots momentum, and the undeniable strength of our America First platform. From the top of the ticket to our local Republican leaders, the message is clear: We are not tired of winning. The Flagler County Republican Executive Committee thanks all its members and supporters who continue to fight for faith, family, and freedom. As we march toward November, stay engaged, stay vocal, and stay proud—because the red wave isn’t coming, it’s already here. God Bless America and God Bless the Republican Party. |
From the Chair:Happy Flag Day! Happy 250th Birthday to our U.S. Army! 🪖And a very Happy 79th Birthday to President Donald J. Trump! 🎂 These three occasions remind us why we fight: for our country, our history, our heroes, and our future. As Chairman of the Flagler County Republican Executive Committee, I am filled with pride and gratitude for the incredible evening we shared in honor of these milestones. To everyone who attended, sponsored, volunteered, or helped behind the scenes at our June 14th celebration at Looper’s Par & Grill—thank you. Events like this are more than just parties. They are opportunities to build relationships, deepen our resolve, and strengthen our committee both financially and spiritually. Nearly 100 attendees joined us for a couple of hours of food, fun, and fellowship, and I believe we left more united and energized than ever. We shared laughter over the "Trump Birthday Menu" and excitement as members walked away with raffle prizes and auction wins, including a beautiful handmade quilt and a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol. It was heartwarming to see so many new faces interested in getting involved with our mission. We raised critical funds to help us support conservative candidates and causes, but even more importantly, we rekindled the spirit of community that makes the FlaglerGOP strong. Our sponsors, our members, and our volunteers are the backbone of this movement. Whether you gave a financial gift, a few hours of your time, or simply showed up to be part of the celebration, know that you are helping us build something meaningful right here in Flagler County. As we press on toward November, let's take this momentum and carry it into everything we do. The left may try to distract, divide, and destroy, but we will stay focused, fearless, and faithful. We will continue to fight for limited government, personal liberty, traditional values, and America First principles. Thank you all again for your support, dedication, and energy. God bless you, God bless Flagler County, and God bless the United States of America. Perry MitranoChairman, Flagler County Republican Executive Committee |
Two Weeks of Winning: Trump Administration Delivers Results as GOP Scores Big in FloridaJune 1–15, 2025 | Including Historic 250th U.S. Army Birthday Parade As America celebrated Flag Day, the 250th Birthday of the United States Army, and President Donald J. Trump’s 79th birthday, the Trump Administration capped off two remarkable weeks with bold action, economic victories, and unmistakable patriotic pride. At the same time, Florida Republicans were scoring decisive victories of their own, proving the momentum is real—and growing. 250th U.S. Army Birthday Parade: A Proud SpectacleOn June 14, Washington, D.C. was the proud host of a historic military parade commemorating the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army. Over 6,600 soldiers, WWII-era tanks, modern military equipment, flyovers, and even a canine parade mascot thrilled the patriotic crowd gathered along the National Mall. President Trump, flanked by First Lady Melania and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, praised our armed forces in a powerful address:
A 21-gun salute and fireworks display capped off the night. While left-wing groups attempted to distract with “No Kings” protests in several cities, the noise was drowned out by the thunderous celebration of American strength and unity. GOP Wins in Florida: Senate District 16 and House District 32Back here in the Sunshine State, Florida Republicans continued the winning streak with back-to-back special election victories:
Both candidates ran on bold conservative platforms—emphasizing school choice, tax relief, and securing Florida’s borders—and their victories show that the Republican message is resonating statewide. Looking AheadThese first two weeks of June remind us all: President Trump and the Republican Party are not tired of winning. From national security and economic progress to electoral victories here at home, the conservative movement is alive and thriving. As the 2026 midterms come into focus, the FlaglerGOP remains committed to organizing, energizing, and electing principled Republican leaders—from right here at hone, to Tallahassee and Washington. 🎉 Patriotism, Celebration, and Community: FlaglerGOP Hosts Flag Day Bash Honoring Army, Trump, and Old Glory On June 14th, nearly 100 proud patriots gathered at Looper’s Par & Grill to celebrate three iconic American milestones: Flag Day, the 250th Birthday of the United States Army, and President Donald J. Trump’s 79th Birthday. The atmosphere was electric with red, white, and blue spirit as members, guests, and supporters of the Flagler County Republican Executive Committee came together for an unforgettable evening of fun, food, and fellowship. Before the Party—Patriots Take to the Streets Before the evening festivities began, dozens of FCREC members and supporters rallied for a spirited flag-waving event along Palm Coast Parkway. The turnout was fantastic, drawing not only longtime members but also many first-time participants who came to proudly stand up for America. This show of patriotic strength served as a bold counter to the nearby “No Kings” protest—where the left once again resorted to lies and hyperbole. While they protest with division, we celebrate with unity, waving Old Glory high to honor Flag Day and the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army. The event was a powerful reminder: we don’t need to tear down to be seen—we lift up our flag, our faith, and our future. New friendships were formed, spirits were high, and passersby responded with honks, waves, and heartfelt support. Inside the Celebration 🎂 The sold-out event featured a festive raffle with eight themed baskets, ranging from a refreshing Sangria & Wine Basket to the always crowd-favorite Trump Basket, sending lucky winners home with great prizes and even bigger smiles. Adding to the excitement, Committee Chair Perry Mitrano led a lively auction of several special items, including a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol and a stunning handmade American flag quilt, crafted with care by our talented Vice Chair, Paula Bedner. Attendees enjoyed a delicious spread of appetizers, including Mozzarella Pizza Rolls, Bruschetta, and Quesadillas. But the real culinary stars came from the specially created Trump Birthday Menu, which featured: 🍗 "Bucket of Greatness" Fried Chicken🍔 "Burger, So Much Burger" Cheeseburgers🍤 "Yuge Shrimp Cocktail"🍖 "Meatloaf You Can Trust" To top it all off, a stunning Flag Cupcake Cake, generously provided by Candace Stevens of Sugar Shakers, offered a sweet and patriotic finale. We extend our deepest gratitude to our incredible event sponsors, whose support helped make this evening possible: Commissioner Greg Hansen and his wife Linda, Gary Kunnas, Joe Mullins, Robin and Beverley Kronen, Commissioner Leann Pennington, Palm Coast Councilman David Sullivan, Rosemary Swaim, and Greg Buhr. Beyond the festivities, this event served as a powerful meet-and-greet opportunity, connecting current members with new faces eager to get involved in our cause. Funds raised will directly support the FlaglerGOP’s ongoing mission to: Get Republicans registered, get strong Republicans elected, and raise money to do so. We are deeply thankful, not only for the generous financial contributions from our members and sponsors, but for the time, energy, and dedication of the volunteers who made this event run so smoothly. Your commitment is the heartbeat of our movement. As we look ahead, we are excited to expand our membership and welcome new patriots ready to fight for faith, family, and freedom.
