Patriotism in Paint: A Young Conservative’s Inspiring Contribution

FCREC to Auction American Flag Painting by Avery O'Dowd

At our upcoming general meeting, the Flagler County Republican Executive Committee will proudly auction a special, one-of-a-kind piece of patriotic art—an original painting of the American flag by Avery O'Dowd, the talented daughter of FCREC member Claudette O'Dowd.

Avery’s work is more than just a painting—it’s a heartfelt tribute to the country we love and the values we fight to preserve. Her decision to donate this piece to support our mission is not only generous, but also deeply inspiring. We are honored to see young Americans like Avery stepping forward to support the conservative movement with such creativity and passion.

This auction is a reminder that the future of our movement is bright. We extend our deepest thanks to Avery for her contribution and her spirit. Don’t miss your chance to own this meaningful artwork and support the FCREC at the same time!

Trump’s AI Action Plan: Key Highlights

1. Three Strategic Pillars

  • Accelerating Innovation: Slash red tape and regulatory barriers, support open-source models, and expand AI adoption across government and private sector to encourage job creation and scientific advancement.

  • Building American AI Infrastructure: Fast-track the construction of AI data centers, semiconductor fabs, and energy facilities. Streamline permitting processes and expand the workforce in skilled trades such as electricians and HVAC technicians.

  • International AI Diplomacy & Security: Export U.S.-developed AI technology, hardware, and standards to allies, enforce stricter export controls to limit reliance on adversaries, and elevate American dominance in global AI governance.

2. Executive Orders Executing the Plan

Signed alongside the policy blueprint were three executive orders:

  • "Preventing Woke AI in the Federal Government": Requires federal AI systems to be ideologically neutral, eliminating DEI, misinformation, and climate narratives from official frameworks.

  • "Accelerating Federal Permitting": Loosens environmental review and permitting bottlenecks to speed AI infrastructure development.

  • "Promoting Export of American AI Stack": Boosts global competitiveness by facilitating AI exports, hardware shipments, software licensing, and international partnerships.

3. Workforce & Procurement Priorities

  • Directs agencies to support workforce retraining and technical education to empower Americans in AI-related roles.

  • Mandates government contracts go only to AI providers whose systems are “objective” and free from ideological bias.

🚀 Why It Matters for Conservatives

  • Economic Growth & Innovation: The plan positions the U.S. for renewed dominance in AI with a deregulation-first approach and large-scale private-sector infrastructure build-out.

  • National Security & Global Influence: Emphasizes U.S. technological leadership over China and other competitors through strategic export controls and international AI alliances.

  • Ideological Integrity: Prioritizes AI systems free from “woke” influences or mandated inclusion policies, reinforcing conservative values in federal technology procurement.

In summary, Trump’s AI Action Plan is a sweeping strategy aimed at unleashing American technological innovation, expanding domestic AI infrastructure, and ensuring that U.S. AI values and exports set the global standard. It’s a clear statement that conservative governance is ready to lead in the 21st‑century tech arena.
