July Patriot Post
A Wonderful July for Flagler Republicans

July has been an incredible month for the Flagler County Republican Executive Committee. From the Freedom Fairways Classic and the Flagler Beach Independence Day Parade to the United Flagler Fourth celebration at the airport and multiple candidate forums, the past 30 days have been filled with opportunities to celebrate our community, connect with voters, and support our Republican candidates. As summer continues, we're now rapidly approaching the August Primary Election.

Freedom Fairways Classic a Great Success
The inaugural Flagler Freedom Fairways Classic brought our community together for a fantastic day of golf, fellowship, and fundraising in support of the REC. Hosted at the beautiful Conservatory Course, many participants had the opportunity to experience the course for the very first time, and the reviews were overwhelmingly positive.
Nearly 70 golfers competed throughout the day, each team hoping to post the lowest score. Congratulations to our winning foursome of Luke Detering, Dakota Wehde, Joseph O'Brien, and Parker Long. (Yes, Parker is the son of REC Secretary Ron Long!) Thank you to everyone who participated, sponsored, and volunteered to make this event such a success. Be sure to keep your calendars open—we're already looking forward to making the Freedom Fairways Classic an annual tradition.

A Patriotic Fourth of July
The FlaglerGOP proudly teamed up with the Flagler County Republican Club for the Flagler Beach Independence Day Parade. Thanks to the creativity and hard work of Aaron Baker and our many volunteers, our patriotic dinosaur-themed float captured the Best Walking Display award. It was a fun and memorable way to celebrate America's birthday.
That evening, many of our members joined thousands of residents at the United Flagler Fourth celebration at the Flagler Executive Airport. The event featured a stirring reading of the Declaration of Independence by our elected officials, an impressive Warbird air show, and a spectacular fireworks display that provided a perfect ending to Independence Day.
Republican Candidates Meet with the REC

Our July REC meeting featured Republican school board candidates Jill Woolbright and Will Furry, and Greg Feldman running for Flagler County BOCC District 2, who each shared their vision for the future of our school district during our "Tell Me About Yourself" (TMAY) presentations.

The Flagler County Republican Executive Committee is proud to provide Republican candidates an opportunity to speak directly with our membership. These meetings help our members become better informed while allowing candidates to connect with grassroots Republicans throughout Flagler County.

We Need Your Help for Early Voting
The Primary Election is Tuesday, August 18, with Early Voting running August 8 through August 15.
Now is the time for all hands on deck. We are looking for volunteers to help staff our tents during early voting and to greet voters at polling locations while distributing voter guides.
If you can volunteer for even a few hours, your help will make a real difference. To get involved, please contact Vice Chair Paula Bedner at paula_bedner@yahoo.com.
Every Vote Matters
As we approach the Primary Election, remember that several important races will be decided on August 18. In many cases, the winners of the primary will go on to serve without meaningful opposition in November, meaning the primary may be the only opportunity many voters have to help determine the outcome.
Please make a plan to vote, encourage your family and friends to vote, and help spread the word throughout our community. Every conversation matters. Every volunteer matters. And every vote matters.
Together, let's continue building on our momentum and make sure Republican voters across Flagler County make their voices heard at the ballot box.
